After the Olympics

The Pyeongchang Olympics were held in 2018. The Korean government put in tremendous efforts over the years to win the honor of hosting the third Winter Olympics in Asia. During the Olympics, Pyeongchang, otherwise a small, quiet city, bustled with 3,000 athletes from 92 countries.

But the glory and revelry didn't last long as Pyeongchang suffered from the reverberation of the Olympics: although the city uses a great amount of tax money to maintain the Olympic facilities, they have now ended up as hideous buildings without any use. The empty Olympic stadiums yearn for the days of glory past.
