Ecological Succession
As much as New York City seems like an extravagant and fancy city with skyscrapers everywhere, there are still traces of its long, industrial past deep inside. Whether it be factories, trains, or towers, with no one setting foot on these industrial ruins for the past few decades, nature has taken over. Such disorganized wastelands can turn out to be more beautiful than well-kept gardens. These industrial ruins portray the ecological succession of such lands that were left untouched.
